The three-year technical secondary school (FMS) combines a broad general education with career-oriented training in the fields of health/natural sciences, education, social work, communication and information, as well as design and art.

 

In the first school year, the focus is on general education subjects.

 

In the second and third years, you will also acquire specific, career-related skills and knowledge. Completing the technical college will give you access to training at a higher technical college. After three years, you will receive your technical college certificate. In a fourth, practice-oriented year, you can also obtain the technical baccalaureate. With the technical baccalaureate, you will be admitted to study at a technical college in your chosen career field. You may also have to pass an aptitude test.
